Nick Catania and the Mystery Machine

From their hometown in the Hudson Valley, Nick Catania and the Mystery Machine brings a new style of piano rock, drawing on the sound of the classics and embracing elements of modern pop and indie music.

Catania, Ponessi, Wygant and Smith have been working together as friends and bandmates for years, honing in on the power of musicianship and a vibrant energy that showcases their individual and collective talents.

For inspiration, these guys look up to Ben Folds, Joe Jackson, and of course that piano guy who makes regular appearances at Madison Square Garden.

Nick is the primary writer, and he enjoys collaborating with many talented artists. They take pride in the details and nuances of their sound, and aim to deliver an unforgettable show.

We had an awesome show at the FALCON: Underground! The place was packed and we put on a heck of a performance! So much energy and good sound right from the first note.
